Why Kourseo — the story behind the project
Why a self-taught learner ended up building Kourseo: a tool that starts from your real level, fills your gaps as you go, and actually makes you practise.
At school, my gaps kept piling up
In class, the curriculum moves on for everyone, whether you understood or not. One year's small holes become the next year's big ones, and nobody goes back for you. A tutor helps, but it's expensive — on top of a school that sometimes already is.
Teaching myself wasn’t enough
On YouTube, the content was never truly made for me: incomplete, or too advanced, or speeding up over foundations I didn't have. On course marketplaces, courses padded to 40-50 hours of which I used only a fraction. You're always the one adapting to the content.
A course that starts from you
You describe your topic, your level and your goal; AI builds a tailored course, in progressive chapters, even for a niche subject. As soon as it spots a shaky concept, it adds explanations, exercises and sections — at your level, right where you need them.
Real practice, really graded
Graded exercises, case studies, projects, speaking, interactive labs, mock exams for certifications: the AI corrects you, scores you and explains. Learning isn’t reading an answer — it’s practising and knowing where you stand.
Why I built it
My goal was never to make money, but to help myself. I dreamt up Kourseo at university; now that I'm working, I've built it. It's the only tool I use to learn and prepare for my certifications.
